Romans 11:33 NKJV
“Oh, what a wonderful God we have! How great are his riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his methods!”
This is one of my favorite verses. It has kept me going throughout my doubts and fears. Sometimes it seems like it would be so much easier to give God the “cold shoulder,” but when I read this, it makes me realize what a big mistake that would be. This verse tells how GREAT our God is, and even though I don’t understand some things (or a lot of things) that he does, that doesn’t mean I should give him the “cold shoulder” through my tough times. Rather, I need to remember what a wonderful God I have. Remember that He knows what he is doing and has plans for me, and it will all work out in the end. It is definitely “impossible to understand His decisions” but if God chooses something I would not of chosen for myself, I need to remember to have faith, not give God the “cold shoulder.”
