8 more days till we go to Stanford. I didn’t realize it was that soon. That means the insurance will definitely not approve the surgery by then. Which also means we’ll just be doing the routine checkup, turn around and make another appointment for next month and hope the insurance approves it by THEN. (Repeat for four months). We’ve been trying to get this approved since September, then we had to switch insurances. Good thing this isn’t urgent!
Also 9 more days until we go to Chico for our first “Thanksgiving,” and then that Thursday, we’re heading down to Carmel to have “Thanksgiving” with Doug’s parents. AND I get to meet the couple that own Guido now! We’ve been emailing for a few weeks now and I am so excited to meet them and see Guido again. For those of you who don’t know, Guido is one of the guide dog puppies I raised. He got all the way through his guidework training and then was “career changed” for a cataract. He is now with a blind man who wasn’t mobile enough to recieve a guide dog.
